Jim took me to Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC where there was a free concert of the Aiken Civic Ballet. Jim definitely did it for me... notice him playing with his phone during the performance... but I really enjoyed the night out together at a girlie event!
Margo and I got to go to Hopeland Gardens yesterday for a book reading with some of our fam. They gave out a copy of one of the books they read so that the kids could follow along! It was beautiful 70 degree weather so we walked around afterward to enjoy the nice spring day.
Margo took a bath in my parent's kitchen sink last night! There are pictures somewhere of my brother, Aaron, in the same sink and I think it's just a right of passage for every baby to take at least one bath in the sink before they outgrow it! :)
Margo had her 6 month checkup today. The stats are... she is 17 lbs. and 26.5 inches long. So, she is in the 75th percentile! All this growing can't be from all the food she's been gulping down this week! :)
We spent the evening at the zoo at their special member's night for behind the scenes look at the birds at the zoo. We had a fun-filled night which ended with us meeting Gilbert, one of the penguins at the zoo exhibit and Margo getting her very own mini-Gilbert penguin squishy toy!
