101st Museum with Grandpa and Grandma

A Little Soldier

Jim got Margo her own set of ACU's (Army Combat Uniform) for her to wear.  She was SO excited to be a soldier just like Daddy!

Amishing

Margo, Grandma, and I went to some of the local Amish and Mennonite farms/bakeries.  We got about 15 ears of corn and lots of other goodies!  We took the corn home, shucked it outside, and let Margo ride around while we made a great lunch of corn on the cob, Lebanon bologna sandwiches, chips, fresh tomatoes, and birch beer!

Soldier Grandma

Vickie tried on some of Jim's equipment that he will be wearing when he deploys.  It probably weighs about 50 pounds and that's without it loaded down with other gear!  It gives us a feel of what he'll deal with physically on a daily basis.

Grandpa and Grandma in Clarksville

Live Music

Margo loves listening to music.  During our walk around downtown Clarksville this evening, we heard music playing and Margo said "Live music!"  So we enjoyed some relaxing coffee house live music for a few minutes.
