Saying Goodbye

Grandma and Grandpa had to leave this afternoon but we had a great time hanging out this weekend.  We love you and will see you soon!

Last Night Together

Jazz and Skype

We spent the evening at Beachaven Winery for their twice a month event called Jazz on the Lawn where tons of people come out to relax in their lawn chairs, take in some good music, and sip on some good local wine too. :)  We enjoyed dancing and relaxing before heading home to skype with Doug, Stephanie, Micah, and Natalie.

With grandparents in town we got our living room furniture all up and running!  It was great that the entertainment center, cabinet, and two bookshelves are now all assembled and ready to be used! 

 

Denim and Diamonds

We had our last event with the 101CAB before the deployment begins.  We had a casual dining out that Jim and I got to attend with a number of soldiers from our squadron and it included the 4 other squadrons comprised in the 101CAB (Combat Aviation Brigade).  We had BBQ, live music, and ice cream sundaes - and a fun time was had! :)
