Goodbye Village!

We said farewell this weekend to our beloved little trailer up at CIU. We have such fond memories over the past five years and feel bittersweet about saying goodbye.

Jim's Aunt Amy knit this beautiful blanket for Margo. She's enjoying snuggling up on it! :)

First Word?

Every night before bed Margo and I make our rounds to everyone who is home - be it Daddy, Nana, Pop Pop, or just Carolina! I say "night night" to each one and have Margo wave and give a hug and kiss. Well, I don't want to jump the gun, but I am pretty sure she is now saying "night night" herself! See what you think...

How it was

We began packing today and started with Margo's room. No, we are not trying to oust our little girl just yet, we made an agreement with the buyers of our home that we would let them store their items in our spare room. This way we get to stay put until we close on our new house August 28th! It works out well for everyone, except poor Margo who is banished to the front room.
