Thankfulness

We had a great Thanksgiving meal at Jim's sister's house. It included both sets of our family in one big meal. A tradition at Jenni's house is to trace our hands on the tablecloth each year. I sat next to Jim's hand from last year and put my hand and Margo's next to his. We have SO much to be thankful for!

A Sleepy Girl

As Sweet as Apple Pie

I made homemade apple pie at my mom's house and took a picture with Margo with my apron on since I looked like a little "Suzie homemaker"! :)

Living a Life of Dependecy on God

Margo's first church service was this past Sunday. God sure does have impeccable timing - it was Jim's first time in the pulpit giving a Sunday sermon! Jim's sermon was on our dependence on God - which Jim and I have put into practice a LOT through the pregnancy and now arrival of Margo. Both sets of parents came to support Jim and hear him preach.

Pretty Picture

Bernie and Eileen sent an adorable frame that matches Margo's room perfectly. I just had to post it on our blog! :) We are so thankful for all the support and prayers and are blown away by our family and friends as they have helped welcome Margo to the world! Jim and I are so very grateful for you all!

Margo at Two Weeks

Margo is now two weeks old. She weights a whopping 8 lbs. 8 oz. and is now 21 in. long! We love our growing girl!

Margo's First Big Outing

Margo had her first big outing with Ashley and Nana on Monday. We went to four stores and had lunch out! Margo spent most of the time sleeping while the older gals enjoyed some retail therapy! :)

A Snuggly Day

Margo had a full day of being snuggled and cuddled with Mommy, Daddy, Nana, and Pop Pop. She is one very loved girl!

Polka Dots

Our neighbor gave us a pair of polka-dot leggings so now Margo is all polka-dotted out with blanket, onesie, burp cloth, receiving blanket, and leggings - although I did tone it down with the solid gray dress! She's gonna think her vision is going and she's seeing spots and not that her mommy wants her to look stylish!

All Cuddled Up

Margo sleeps next to our bed in a Moses basket. She likes feeling bundled up but loves to throw her hands over her head as she sleeps.

My friend Carrie sent a Willow Tree figurine. Margo's favorite place seems to be in my arms so we took a picture to resemble the figurine.

Just the fam

Margo's Visitors

Margo had a busy first week full of visitors from those who have been praying for her arrival.

Nana (Ashley's Mom) and Grandma (Jim's Mom) both spent a few days in town with Margo

Dori and June from Ashley's work came by the first day that Margo arrived home!

Miss Sheilah Stetson and David and Julie Gentino came by too but we can't believe we forgot to take pictures of their time with us!

We are so grateful to all those who have prayed and continue to pray for our family. We are so encouraged by your support and thankful for God's faithfulness to give us a precious gift in Margo Grace!

One Week Old

How she's changed: Margo is now 7lbs. 9oz. (getting back to her birth weight and then some!) Our beautiful girl is growing and changing every day! We're just trying to enjoy each moment

Relaxing with Mommy and Daddy

Daddy and the Dirty Diaper

After Margo's bath Jim changed Margo into her clothes and to his credit he did change a wet diaper.

But he left Nana to deal with this while Ashley was sleeping...
