So while Jim is gone I've been working on some projects I've had stacking up. I love picking out colors and fabrics for dresses for Margo and had lots of fun making up some new outfits for her and making some as gifts too! :)

Budding Conversationalists
Okay, I wish I captured this conversation on video, but I'll just have to relay it to remember this funny story. Margo and I went to visit a friend from college, Rachel, and her 2 1/2 year old Taylor. While driving home from an outing with the girls, Margo was whining "Mama, Mama, Mama" - wanting something from me - and finally Taylor turned to her and in her adorable southern accent asked: "What do you WANT?" Margo was shocked that this other "little person" would talk to her and she looked over at Taylor and said "Milk!" The rest of the conversation went something like this:
Taylor: "What?"
Margo: "Milk!"
Taylor: "OH! Milk?"
Margo: "Yes"
Taylor: "Oh, milk's good."
Margo: "Yeah."
And then a few minute conversation ensued about sippy cups, night-night, and singing. While I didn't get it on film, I did get a spontaneous singing of Jingle Bells the next day...
Taylor: "What?"
Margo: "Milk!"
Taylor: "OH! Milk?"
Margo: "Yes"
Taylor: "Oh, milk's good."
Margo: "Yeah."

The Girls
Jim is on a 10 day mission trip to Africa! While he is gone we are enjoying some girl time! Pray for his trip with 7 other people from our church as they meet with pastors, evangelists, orphans, widows, and Christians from our fellowship of churches. I can't wait to post all the things that Jim did, all the people he met, and all the lessons he learned! Until then you'll see plenty of pictures of Margo and me over the next ten days adventure of girlie time!

A Phone Call
Bird Feeder
Margo and I made a homemade birdfeeder! We used a huge pinecone, peanut butter, and crushed up stale cereal. Margo had a blast "painting" the pinecone and ended up eating some herself. The first week after we set it up the birds didn't touch it. I guess in desperation for food during the snow and ice the past week they have decided to give it a try and it's now a bare pinecone!
