After exactly one year of dealing with a milk protein allergy in Margo, I can say with *almost* certainty that she is over it! We have tried cheese, yogurt, and milk with no allergic reaction! I can't tell you what a relief it is that she is able to eat "normally" now - it is amazing how MANY foods have milk or a milk derivative in them. With her being underweight and needing to pack on some pounds it couldn't come at a better time either! Ice cream here we come! :)

1-2-3 JUMP
My mom and her best good friend Sheilah watched Margo while we where in Hilton Head. They taught her a new trick! She now knows how to jump... sort of. She stands on her toes.

Tooth Compromise
I have found that sometimes a good compromise relieves the stress of conflicting wills. So it is with brushing Margo's teeth. She brushes my teeth, I brush hers. It works, we don't have a battle every time the task has to be done, and we both come out cleaner at the end of it!

Big Talker
Margo is starting to put two and two together and saying words with their associations. I LOVE IT! Happy 15 month b-day Margo! You are growing up so quick! :)
Words I have been able to decipher:
ma-ma (me, Grandma, and Nana depending on who she is looking at)
da-da (Jim)
pa-pa (Pop-Pop or Paw-Paw, again, depending on who she is looking at)
more
ball
book
bye-bye
night-night (although she hasn't said it in a while)
baba (baby doll)
brlina (Carolina, our dog)
pees (please)
chew chew (Thomas the Train DVD)
bubble (bubble blower)
at (hat)
bow (hairbows)
shew (shoe or sock)
15 Months Young!
It's amazing how quickly Margo learns things and I can't believe she is already fifteen months old! But there is so much to life that I am looking forward to... and plenty that I am nervous about entering. Two things in this video remind me that she is still a young toddler. 1) she can't figure out blowing bubbles and at least needs me for that task! 2) she is yet to defy me when I give her a command. Here she is standing on her rocker and promptly sitting down after I tell her to. I'm sure it won't be long before she gives me a little smirk and does it anyway. I guess we'll see what kind of personality God gave her and what patience I'll have to respond with! I can't wait to see her physically, mentally, and spiritually mature!
