Work Trip to Chattanooga

As a chaplain, Jim is tasked with certain duties that he is on call to perform around the Ft. Campbell area each month.  One is funeral duty and he was asked to do a ceremony for a solider who passed away from health issues and was being laid to rest in a military cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.  Margo and I joined him for the overnight trip down to Chattanooga.  Margo was very sweet, even praying for the family of the soldier when she and I went to dinner while Daddy met with the family.  I am grateful that we can see Jim's job as a ministry that our whole family can be a part of.
Mommy date to P.F. Chang's - the only time she'll eat meat - she loves sesame chicken!

Fro Yo for dessert!

Playing in the sink at our hotel - kept her busy for a LONG time! :)

Indoor play area at the mall!

Posing on the canon to show Daddy! :)

Walking the bridge!

Taking some "professional" pics of Jim's updated uniform with his new badges.

This is the hat he wore to the internment ceremony at the military cemetery.

It's such an honor to be part of a rich heritage of military culture and to serve a family in need by showing full honor to their solider by dressing our best.

Lunch with Daddy and Mommy after Daddy was off work.  Margo was making us a sandwich out of her napkin!

Pretty wildflower from Daddy!

Walking the waterfront!

Posing to humor Daddy! ;)

"Mommy, pose this way!"

Pic by Margo! :)

Carousel at a park on the North Shore of Chattanooga - this lion's name is "Aslan" :)

Margo and Daddy on the carousel!
Doing a trick after the carousel stopped!

Ready to play in the splash park!

Going into the center...

And leaving soaking wet!

All smiles and fun at the splash park until she slipped and fell on her bottom - then it was time to leave! :(

Walking the pedestrian bridge!

Walking back from getting Rita's Ice!

Pretty hillside on our walk back to our car - doesn't it look like a Window's desktop background?
