September 11th Memorial Ceremony

I will periodically be able to post pictures about what Jim is doing in Afghanistan and here are a few from the first big event he was able to do.  Jim was the Chaplain in charge of the ceremony for the 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony.  He said that it was a great honor to be able to pray over the troops and give a benediction on a day that is a sobering and special day for the USA.
For any formal ceremonies Jim is able to wear a vestment(it has the US Army crests on it).

Saluting the Flag.

Standing before the ceremony with one of the commanders of the 82nd Airborne from Ft. Bragg.
