JD at 6 Months Old!

JD is 6 months old!  Our chapel child care take babies 6 months and above, and I see now why, because once they hit the six month mark they can become much busier little guys - at least that's what I've found with my little guy! :)

~ He is 19.5 lbs and is in 9-12 month clothing and size 3 diapers.
~ He is super busy all the time.  He will kick his feet and roll over on the changing table, and will roll out of his bouncy seat if he isn't strapped in!  He has begun grabbing at things in front of him and pounding his fists and putting everything in his mouth!  Overall, if you are holding him he wants to be holding you or grabbing something that you have.  It's funny but exhausting!
~ He is able to sit up well when he is supported.  He has been on the swing in the park and likes sitting up in his boppy pillow.
~ He takes a shorter nap in the morning and one or two naps in the afternoon.  He has a hard time falling asleep anywhere besides his own bed and likes it quiet and warm when he sleeps. He sleeps on his right side sucking his four fingers in his mouth.  If we are out he will sleep in the Beco baby carrier I have, but I think it gives him a rash on his arms and legs so I only use it when he is wearing long sleeves.  He doesn't like to cuddle or be sung to when he is going to sleep.  He actually put his hand over my mouth trying to close it one time when I was singing to him! :) 
~ He is very smiley and has begun chewing on his lower lip all the time, especially when he smiles! His very favorite person is Margo and he will look all around if he hears her and doesn't see her.
